How HD IT boosted growth capabilities  


HD IT provides a full range of managed IT services and IT consulting support for small and medium-sized businesses across Australia. HD IT Founder and Managing Director George Hanna wanted to create scalable IT support to take businesses from where you are to where you want to be.


The company goes far beyond competitors’ standard set of services to become an extension for businesses, contributing resources, industry-leading processes, technology solutions, and expert client services to maximise IT investment.


The company wanted to continue its expansion path and strengthen company processes to create strong growth year to year. 


Boosting marketing and sales capabilities 


Prior to meeting Matt Trustrum, the company didn’t have a clearly defined growth roadmap, sales strategy or marketing plan. Matt provided one-on-one guidance to address these challenges. 

 

Matt worked with George to create a structured approach to developing a growth roadmap, sales strategy, and marketing plan, which helped the company to clarify its goals and identify the key actions necessary to achieve them. 


Once the company had a clear roadmap, sales strategy, and marketing plan in place, they were able to execute these plans with greater confidence and success.  “We wanted to create a team that would allow us to grow without procedural, team member and strategic constraints,” says George.


“Prior to the support, we didn’t have a sales team and relied heavily on one person to fulfil all roles within sales. We have now grown our sales team, and we are no longer reliant on one person, which was creating a key man risk.”


HD IT has continued to receive support via regular meetings, review of business strategies and advice on how the company can upskill in sales and marketing. 


Confidence in growth

The company has since expanded upon its initial growth roadmap and sales strategy, continuously refining and improving upon these plans over time. Since the program, HD IT has also been able to increase the reach of new clients via strengthened marketing strategies and capabilities. The company has grown with confidence, knowing that it was hiring the right people and structuring the team in a way that would enable it to achieve its growth objectives.
